Attendance

We hire our quality staff and resource our great activities based on your booking. So, unfortunately if you cancel or if your child is sick/absent, we will not be able to issue a refund or swap days.

  • Absences must be reported as soon as possible and no later than 9:00am. Call 578 9272 ext 2.
  • Children must be signed IN and OUT every day.
  • If your child is suspended from the programme, no refund will be given.
  • The YMCA does not take direct responsibility for children before 8am and after 5.30pm. A PENALTY FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR LATE PICKUP!
  • The YMCA reserves the right to change the programme at any time without notification.

Administration

Please read the information board daily as it contains valuable details.

  • A copy of our policies and procedures is available at each centre.
  • A $10 administration fee per child will be charged for any bookings taken or changes made to your booking after the deadline.
  • Do not allow your child to bring valuables to the programme. The YMCA accepts no responsibility for damaged or lost items.
  • We make every attempt to minimise the amount of lost property. Please help us by labelling EVERYTHING your child brings.
  • If your child is ill, keep her/him home. If a child becomes ill during the day, parents will be called and asked to collect their child.
  • If an individual’s behaviour compromises the safety of the child, the staff or other children, we retain the right to suspend the child.
  • Feedback forms are available at each centre.
  • Attendance in our programme is deemed as acceptance of all policies.

Money Matters

Your child will not be enrolled on the programme until payment in full is received.

  • WINZ- You are ultimately responsible for all programme fees. As a courtesy, we ESTIMATE how much you may receive from WINZ. The balance is your deposit. You are responsible for submitting your form to WINZ and following up your case.
  • Receipts will only be sent out upon request and receipt of stamped self addressed envelope.
  • If your account is overdue and requires debt collection, you, the client, will be liable for any and all legal and collection charges necessary to recover this amount.
  • Payments can be made via internet banking to: Westpac 03-0435-0467494-02 - Reference HP-Last name of child (If your child attends after school care your reference will be OS-Last name of child)
