Workplace Computing

National Certificate In Computing Level 2

National Certificate In Business Administration & Computing Level 2/3

Gain work place confidence, computing and administration skills. Develop your own learning plan, based on your needs.

Workplace Computing is a programme that teaches more than just core computing skills! It runs like a work place would, encouraging students to develop good work practices like getting to work on time, respect for others and themselves and job responsibility. As each student progresses through the NZQA unit standards they experience success and build confidence, in turn this develops a healthy work ethic.

Our IT Tutor has an extensive background in teaching and it, maintains a fun, family atmosphere to make the learning process an enjoyable one. Subject areas include computing, business administration, basic literacy and numeracy skills, CV preparation and work skills. It also includes a work experience component so students can “have a go” - applying their new skills to a real work situation. Like the Early Childhood programme, the class sizes are kept small to ensure students are given all the support they need to be successful.
